For the future of type project, I was tasked with creating a fictional type festival about what the future of typography could look like. I chose "The Future of Type is Aquaphilic", which was designed to be a type festival for all things related to the ocean. I used a variety of design principles to craft my motion piece including repetition, negative space, and contrast. I feel this piece is very strong because I pulled from a wide variety of aspects from the ocean. From sea grass waving in the water to hundreds of fish all swimming together.
