The 4 Squares project tasked us with creating a composition using only 4 black squares that conveyed a key word. I chose "Depth" for mine, and by using the basic design principles I crafted my compositions. I ended up choosing this design as my final because it showed a strong use of artful cropping and size difference. I felt this design conveyed "depth" the best due to the large squares on the sides opening up as you look down the composition. It resembles a hole opening up, and the two squares are falling through it.
