For the 6 word memoir, we were tasked with creating a 6 word poem that described us as individuals. We then had to create 6 unique collages that visualized each word. For these collages we had to keep the basic design principles in mind, as well as coming up wth words that weren’t cliched. The more quirky the words were, the more we were able to express ourselves. I definitely leaned into my sense of humor for a lot of these. I felt these compositions were my best ones because they utilized many of the basic design principles like repetition, and negative space. They also were the best overall because I felt they captures my style and humor perfectly.
